WHAT IF I TRY

I’m being pulled in two ways.
It’s either to try or not to.
It’s difficult to choose.
What if I don’t try?
What if I do?
Everything that I’ve always dreamed of depends on my choice.
If I try, it’s either I win or I lose.
I wouldn’t know until I’ve tried.
But if I don’t try,
I may regret because I may never have the chance to know whether I’ll win or not.
How can I afford to live my life with what if?
It’s close enough for me to touch but if I don’t go for it, I might always regret.
How can I learn to live with wondering what if I would have tried?
I could shine even fly.
I don’t want to realize after it’s too late and see it pass me by.
Will I ever know what the future holds if I don’t try.
If I could I would, if I couldn’t I would.
I would rather try than to live wondering why I never did.

THE GOOD SELFISH ACT

Maybe, we might all be here to help each other. In truth, we might all
be parts of the machine that must foster cooperation in order to
achieve the desired end product or maybe we're not. We might
probably just be here to make the best of the situation for ourselves.
In any case, helping others have the siamese behaviour of bringing
happiness into the helper's life. So for whatever reason you choose
to help others, it will always help you in return. The famed law of
Karma did say that 'whatever you do to others will get back to you in
three folds'. It was then that I concluded that 'Helping Others' is the
most selfish act there is because you are selfishly attracting to
yourself in three folds what you are doing to others.
Whao!!! Such a good and selfish act. I love it.

MY TESTIMONY

Never had I know that something was hindering me from becoming the real ME. Never had I know that I have been held in a rut of non-motion by a motionless thing. Never had I know that I have been held in a prison for so long a time. A prison that held me back from expressing my ability, my initiative, my talent, and most of all, it held back the fulfillment of my full potential as a human being.I have been so afraid of my fear that it practically made me a slave of itself. But I started the journey to becoming the real ME when "I breathed out and faced my fear. I stood up to my fear and suddenly my fear fell and bowed down in awe of me".
It was never easy but the end feeling was worth the effort. Note this - fear will paralyse you if you do not deal with it. It will absolutely stop you from living a life that you desire. Recognise it. Conquer it. Only when we are no longer afraid do we begin to live. Do the things you fear to do and keep on doing it. Go ahead and start that business you want to start. Go ahead and speak your word. Go ahead and stand up for yourself. Go ahead and study what you really want to study. Go ahead and become a musician, poet, artist, fashion designer, speaker or whatever else you want to do. Sure you might fail, but you might succeed too. Take the
risk today and conquer your fears. You deserve better than where you're presently at.
