THE END OF YESTERDAY

The sun set on yesterday because it must rise today. End dawned on yesterday for today to see the light. It is the responsibility and expectation of yesterday to give way for today. It is a must that after yesterday has elapsed the time allotted to it, it must give way for today. If yesterday fails in its responsibilities, it hinders today from shining.

Life is set in such a way that some people must set the way for others to follow. It is expected that those who lead the way fulfill and accomplish that which is expected of them for others to shine. Every one of us walks in such a way that the path we follow lays the road that others after us will follow. And if we fail in our responsibilities, we live problems for those coming behind us because everyone is dependent on each other to accomplish their dreams.

We were all modeled to make impressions, and the impressions we make do not necessarily have to be for us but it is meant to create a path for those behind. Understand therefore that the way we live our lives is not necessarily a function of our choice alone but a function of whether those coming behind us will be able to fulfill their responsibilities.

Seek to make a difference that those coming behind you will not be hindered from fulfilling their responsibilities. Yesterday must fulfill its responsibilities for today not to have problems fulfilling his.

BECAUSE OF YOU

Now, you may think you are not making a difference, but somebody is still existing because of you.

You may think you don't have what it takes, but what you have is big enough to keep somebody alive.

You may think you are poor, not so much educated, or intelligent, but you are a motivation and an inspiration to somebody.

If you are planning to quit, remember these unknown people who are existing because of you, making you their source of hope. Their destiny has been attached to yours.  If you are not thinking about yourself, at least please think about these people.

It is true you are still in need, looking forward to graduating, struggling with your finances, seeking for a good job, hoping for a future partner, but one sure thing is that  your value has not reduced. You mean the world to somebody. Please be happy, and remember never to quit.

 

NEVER EVER!

Don't use other people failures as a yardstick to know if you will make it. If it did not go down well with others, it does not mean it will not with you. See yourself like this: if there's only one person that would make it, IT'S YOU. Not even the economy of this Nation can stop you. When others say there's no way, let your report be that there's a way. Don't ever talk failure or impossibility. That's where your victory starts.

THE GREATNESS IN ME

Have you ever had a door of opportunity slammed in your face? A job application that you did not get; a friendship or relationship that didn’t go through; a proposal where the answer was no. you know what, I’ve had that too.

Sure, these things happen when you are in pursuit of something, when you want something better than the status quo. Just make sure you don’t focus on the closed door. Crawl through a window or tear down a hole in the roof just to find a way forward. Step back and do an assessment. What happened? What didn’t you do? What did you discover about yourself? What do you need to do? Who must you become to move forward in your life?

Whatever you do …, don’t give up simply because it becomes challenging. Don’t expect life to make it easier for you to reach your goals. Make the decision to become a better person in order to accomplish your goals. Believe this – there will be other doors and more opportunities. Know that you will be stronger, wiser, more capable and better prepared when you take advantage of those closed doors, because everything that happens in life has even the littlest advantage attached to it. You just have to discover where that advantage lies and make the greatest use of it.
