A NEW LIFE

Today is the newest day of my life. Today is a blank page in the diary of my life. Today comes loaded with it unlimited possibilities and I’m ready to embrace it with open arms. Today, I can be and do what I want to do. I will go through today with my head up high. Today, I stop being a victim of my yesterday. I will make someone smile. I’ll go out of my way to perform an act of kindness to someone I don’t know. I will quit worrying about what I don’t have and give thanks for the many blessings that are mine. I will be wise enough to be grateful, courageous enough to be happy, open enough to see opportunities. It’s a new dawn. It’s a new day. It’s a new life and I’m feeling good!

And as the day ends: I will finish the day and be done with it; I will go outside and raise my eyes to the heavens. I will stand in awe at the beauty of the shining stars and the moon and I will praise God. I will be excited with expectations because I know tomorrow could be yet another great day of my life.

YOUR CHOICE

You can let failure knock you out and you can stay down OR you can get up believing in yourself, determined to climb to the top. You can either be blindly determined to make of your life everything you really deserve OR you can sit down and be counting all your losses. In essence, you can only be doing ones of the twos. Being determined to do whatever it takes to win, regardless of how many times you have been knocked down may just be the real option of life. You, I and everybody else may go through failure on our roads to success. It is just about either never being satisfied with mediocrity, averageness, poverty, misery OR you are deriving satisfaction in all. Your choice will however determine whether you are one step beyond the crowd OR you are one behind. You get to choose whether to get up and never ever give up OR you sit down, knocked down by your clangers. You either elect to be happy despite all OR you remain sad despite all. It’s all your choice. You either opt to choose wisely OR you remain a fool forever. It is still your choice.

NOW OR NEVER!

This is my one shot at living. Yes if I have to make some compromises, at least I must get a shot at my dreams. This is your only shot at living; don’t ever fail to give everything you’ve got. There is no lifeline for you once you use your only lifeline. No ‘50-50’, no ‘phoning a friend’ and no ‘audience’ will ever help you. You have to use your only lifeline with caution. You have to believe that you alone hold your key to success.  The starting point of success is the realization that no one else is coming to your help. Everything you are or will be is entirely up to you. You have to achieve everything achievable within this lifetime. You have to walk through this life leaving footprints that differentiate you from the rest. You have to make your difference. How could you spend the rest of your life wondering if you really could have made it. You can’t afford to waste your only life running after nonsensicals. The time is now to make your dreams come true. NOW or NEVER!

I AM ME

I am me. In the entire world, there is no one exactly like me. There are people who have some parts likes me. But no one adds up exactly like me. Everything that comes out of me is mine because I alone choose it. I own everything about me. I own my fantasies, my dreams, my hopes, my fears, my successes, my failures, my mistakes. I can see, feel, hear, think, say and do. I have the tools to survive, to be productive and to make sense out of people and things outside of me. I am me and I can do anything. I am ME and that’s all I can be. The real me is a ME that can never be you. The real ME is hiding under my skin. The real ME is wonderful, beautiful. You know what, I just wanna be me. You should also be YOU. Do what you do. Hold your head up high. Be yourself. You have to be yourself because You are YOU and I am ME.

PUT YOURSELF OUT

Sometimes you just got to put yourself out there and not worry what happens. Sometimes you just got to go outside and not worry whether the rain is falling or whether it’s a sunny hot day. Sometimes walking through life involves risking through the pain just to get the gain.

I know there is the chance you might fail but likewise there is the chance you might succeed. So why would you limit yourself just because of the chance you could fail. You would be killing your chance at success as well. You don’t have to talk yourself out of greatness when there is the chance. You’ve got to jump. You’ve got to quit being scared of the maybes and what-ifs and just go out. Quit cheating yourself out of the best thing that could happen to you. The greatest harm you can do to yourself is to fail when you could have succeeded.

Go out there and make a name for yourself. You deserve it.

SHOW UP

Sometimes, we hide from living that we forget that we are the lead actor in our life-movie. Sometimes, we forget that the way we present ourselves speaks volume a lot about what we become in this life. The truth is that you have to show up for your life to rise up in life. You have to own up to your life. You have to be responsible for your story. Make life better for yourself and others. Be an active participant in your journeys through life. Work towards your goal; don’t just hope for the best. Find purpose in what you are doing. Find satisfaction in your passion. Make things happen in your own life. Open yourself to infinite opportunities. Be alive, be confident. Walk through life with the knowledge that you have a lot to offer and a great desire to share it. That doesn’t mean you will not falter. No! Make mistakes – lots of it, learn from them, correct them, and move forward. Don’t hold yourself back. Make your choices; you owe nobody an apology for living your life.

Show up for your life! You have the talents to succeed. We are all expecting the best from you.

Excellence is never an accident. It is always the result of high intention, sincere effort, and intelligent execution; it represents the wise choice of many alternatives. It is the state of outstanding quality. It is the result of unending and unfading passion for greatness. It is never a mistake. It is the summation of determination and resilience laced in perseverance. Excellence is about standing out in the crowd. It’s not about having the best. It’s about bringing out the best from what you have. Excellence is being better than the average. It’s choosing not to be a mediocre. It’s about distinguishing yourself with exceptional qualities. It’s doing ordinary things extraordinarily well. It’s the resolution never to be satisfied with less but that you will give your best in your quest to be better than the rest.

Average doesn’t look so good for you. It is the worst of the best and the best of the worst. Seek EXCELLENCE. You are better than being average.
